Long Distance Runner
Noise meets ambience, post-rock colliding with film-scores, Long Distance Runner are an instrumental band from London, who’s immersive and cinematic sound has drawn attention from the city’s alternative music scene, enchanting audiences with wordless pieces that shape-shift and melt into each other, moving between euphoric beauty and darkness, improvisation and structure, tension and release. The manifesto is simple: to make instrumental music that moves and transforms its audience, and to let the listener interpret it without words.

Having just recorded their debut record at Dan Carey’s Speedy Wunderground studio, they will be playing two record store day shows at Rough Trade East and Level Crossing Records in 2026, before the release of two singles this summer.
